The following videos are from the Demonstration Debate at ENDI.  The affirmative team is Joel Lemuel (1A, Grady Alum) and Ana Nikolic (2A).  The negative team is Mikaela Malsin (1N) and Stephen Weil (2N, Westminster Alum).

    why so slow…?

    Because it doesn’t need to be fast. This obsession with speed undermines the quality of argument. I think flowing the debate and figuring out what makes it a good debate is better than a speed reading contest.

    With that being said, all 4 of these debaters could go blazingly fast if necessary – it just wouldn’t be as useful a tool.

    does it have to be really really slow. Speed is just more exciting to watch.
